Specially designed for people who don’t have the resources, confidence, time, focus, desire or personal education to train their dogs themselves. Dogs live in the training center and receive between 4 and 6 hours of training a day, six days a week. For safety reasons, all dogs receive crate training with board and training as they will be crated at night for sleeping or during “off” hours. Education and training is given to your dog for the first two weeks and then one- on – one training is re- established with the owner/ family for the following weeks. This way the owner is involved with the training process, see their dog grow and succeed, and will know exactly what to expect when the dog arrives back home. Please read the FAQs page for more details of what the board and train consists of. Attending a board and train interview via Zoom with all family members and with trainer is required before scheduling training. Muzzle conditioning is a pre- requisite for any dog with any aggressive behaviors. We will only accept a basket style muzzle that the dog can eat, drink and pant with. Dog must accept muzzle on his face and be able to walk with it on. Baskerville makes a good quality muzzle. Refer to our videos on our website to learn how to muzzle condition.
